PSYCHOLOGIST | LUTHERAN MEDICAL CENTER | Brooklyn, NY PSYCHOLOGIST Full Time - Bilingual English/Spanish Lutheran Family Health Centers has been serving the people of Brooklyn with a distinctive combination of hospital, community and residential based services for over125 years. Our nationally recognized primary care delivery system offers an extensive array of community-based programs that generate over 600,000 visits annually. Our Center for Child Development serves children from birth to 12 years of age, offering Early Intervention, CPSE and pediatric rehabilitation evaluations and services. Our workplace is ideal for creative, caring professionals energized by working with immigrant families in an urban setting. Successful candidate will work with children with developmental disabilities such as Autism, PDD, ADHD, and Reactive Separation Disorder to conduct family psychosocial and developmental assessments, which includes social interaction, non-verbal communication, attention span, organizational/transition skills, and atypical behaviors. Assessment tools used include Vineland, Bayley, CARS, Stanford Bennet, and Westby. To qualify, you must have a Doctoral Degree in Psychology and 3+ years of related experience. NYS License, ability to prepare detailed assessments, and strong oral/written communication and problem-solving skills are also essential. The ability to speak and write in Spanish is essential.
